Don Klein graduated Brown University in 1984 with a degree in European History. He received his Juris Doctor (JD) from Boston University School of Law in 1987. Don has had a long and varied career first as a litigator, then moving to business transactions, and eventually out of the legal profession permanently. He founded and served as Executive Vice President of Business Development for a start up semiconductor laser manufacturer from 1996 to 2009, and subsequently transitioned to Investment Consulting with a focus primarily on biopharmaceuticals. He has a wonderful family; his wife Annie, a former Manzanita teacher, his son Jaden, a former Manzanita student, and his daughter Gianna.  Both of Don’s children work in the fields of ecology and environmental sustainability.
