Jade acts as a member of Manzanita’s Office Team. She supports parent, staff, and student needs, maintains the Office space, leads the organization of various Fundraising Campaigns, like the Beach Clean Up and Annual Giving, and is the main resource for First Aid in the Office, providing comfort and care to students in need, as well as working together with the rest of the Office Team to tend to the various moving parts behind-the-scenes. Jade has a long history with this land through Cali Camp, attending as a camper since 2008 and as a staff member since 2017. It’s a uniquely meaningful experience for her to spend her days in the place she grew up and get the unique opportunity to relate to students on their first experiences of childhood in the same setting, leading to beautiful connective moments. Outside of school hours, Jade considers herself a hobbyist, always picking up something new, whether it be sewing, crocheting, painting, or reading. She loves doing nail art and how meditative that process can be (and loves hearing the ideas students give her for what to do next). She’s a big fan of live music and will always find her way to a show, whether it be at an open mic night or a stadium.

Educational Background: Jade received a Bachelor's Degree with Honors in English Literature and Queer Studies from California State University, Northridge.
