When not co-directing the summer camp, Ariel spends the fall providing administrative support to Manzanita School and managing the beautiful Big Rock property. Ariel first fell in love with this land as a camper when she was five years old, loving it so much that since 2005 she’s returned every year to work at Cali Camp, the program that runs every summer on the Big Rock property. She has held many positions, including Counselor, Team Leader, Transportation Director, and Operations Director. Ariel’s deepest connection to Manzanita’s Guiding Principles lies in Mentoring Relationships, as she has a deep passion for helping to ignite leadership in young people. Outside of school hours, you can find her thinking about Cali Camp!

Educational Background: Ariel graduated from the University of California, Irvine with degrees in Education and Political Science
