Eric will be will be supporting all of our instructional coverages schoolwide when there are staff absences, or student academic intervention needs. This position (called 'the schoolwide floating sub'), was previously held by Mr. Damon, and before that Mr. Mark. It is a vital role requiring skill with diverse ages of students. Mr. Eric demonstrated this skill working as a substitute teacher at Manzanita School many times during the past year. Previously, Eric was an administrator for many years with the Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families, focusing on Juvenile Rehabilitation. Since moving to Los Angeles with his family, he has been working through Scoot Education, a local employment agency that provides high-quality substitute teachers to LA independent schools. Eric has a BA degree in Community Services. We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Eric C. to our team (not to be confused with Mr. Eric E., director of the high school).
