Ganix acts as the co-teacher for Manzanita’s 1st grade class, specializing in leading and developing the academic curriculum. He is a skilled and experienced teacher who previously volunteered at Manzanita in the 2022/23 and 2023/24 school years, working with small groups, and providing teacher support for several hours each week, before officially joining the team for the 2024/25 year. Originally from the Basque Country in northern Spain, Ganix speaks several languages and is also an accomplished musician. Previously, Ganix worked for five years as a Primary School Teacher focusing on science and STEM in the UK. He values the time he gets to spend fully immersed in nature through Manzanita, and strongly believes in a holistic, nature-based approach to learning, as it fosters deeper connections and supports personal growth. Outside of school hours, Ganix loves spending time with his family going surfing, hiking, traveling to different countries, reading books, and enjoying music.

Educational Background: Ganix holds a degree in Teaching with a specialization in Music, a degree in Business Administration, as well as a higher diploma from the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London.
