Kassandra “KC” Wilsey

Kassandra (KC) acts as a Naturalist for 6th Grade at Manzanita. She has spent 22+ summers at the Big Rock property while at Cali Camp as a co-director, bringing her expertise on Outdoor Education. While not at Big Rock, KC continues to educate students at CSUN, as a part-time professor in the Recreation Department teaching outdoor education and environmental sustainability. She deeply values the energy and enthusiasm for children to learn through play that is present at Manzanita. Outside school hours, she is an avid equestrian and has her own “farm” at home with four dogs, a cat, a tortoise, three kids, and a husband.

Educational Background: KC graduated top of her class with a Masters Degree in Recreation Management from California State University, Northridge.
