Vicki acts as the Art teacher for all grades and teaches the Fiber Arts and Drawing Specialist classes at Manzanita. She discovered a love of drawing and the power of visual communication when very young. She has taught Visual Arts classes at multiple grade levels in local public, private, and home school settings for more than 15 years. She has mentored other Art Educators and taught several workshops for Teachers through the California Art Educators Association. She values the small class sizes Manzanita provides to truly connect with the students, as well as the dedicated peers she works with every day. Vicki has lived in Topanga for most of her life and enjoys exploring & experimenting with the local Flora for use in Fiber Arts. Outside of school hours, she loves all things Fiber-related, including Cordage & Basketry, Hand-Spinning & Dying, Weaving, Knitting, and Rug-Making.

Educational Background: Vicki has an M.A. in Art Education and holds a secondary credential for Visual Arts.
