Welner Trujillo has been a teacher for over 12 years, having trained in Reggio Emilio approaches, and having worked extensively in early elementary education. He previously worked at Ilan Ramon Day School, as well as First Presbyterian School of Santa Monica. Welner holds three Associates Degrees in Social-Behavioral Sciences, Arts and Humanities, and Child Development, as well as a Child Development permit from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Welner is enthusiastic about nature and being in the outdoors, and says, “I understand, value, and appreciate how nature can be a powerful third teacher in children’s learning.” We are so excited to welcome Welner to our 1st grade for the coming year, and know he will be a valuable addition to our team.
