Lia Grippo, the founder and director of Wild Roots Forest School in Santa Barbara, joined Manzanita families on November 7, 2025, for a conversation about the benefits of boundaries for young children. Lia Grippo is a dynamic leader in the Forest Model of education and has over 25 years of experience. She co-founded the Academy of Forest Kindergarten Teachers, which offers formal training for Forest Kindergarten teachers. Lia's commitment to excellence sets a high bar in this fledgling field in North America. Lia has been a mentor and teacher for our faculty and school, and she brings a rich bedrock of knowledge and experience.
